For your planning purposes, here is the Board of Education Calendar for the 2011-2012 school year. Keep in mind that Kailua Elementary School still needs to decide its specific planning and collaboration days. Those will be announced shortly. This should at least help you get started with summer planning!

New Volunteer Opportunities:
Check out our new volunteer page on our website. Just click on the volunteer link above and you will directed to our new page where you can sign-up to volunteer at our school. We are currently looking for volunteers to help with our
Honu Hut. Please feel free to contact Michelle Letchford at kespcnc@gmail.com and send your name, child’s name, Teacher and room number. She will email you back to reconfirm and answer any questions you may have.
Support Our School:
These workshops consist of 8, 2 hour sessions, and they help you to make a connection, understand what they do, and to teach you what to do when challenges arise. The workshops will be held starting Jan. 12, 2012 to Mar. 8, 2012 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. There will be no workshop on Feb. 16, 2012 due to a previously planned family night. Refreshments and Child Care will be provided. If you are interested please email me at www.kespcnc@gmail.com and leave names of adults attending, no. of children attending, and the schools they are attending. These workshops are open to all elementary schools in the Kailua area.
